Crafting a custom brand typeface for Fuel Wheels. Type design in itself is designing a graphic system. A typeface is a set of letters, numbers, and symbols (glyphs), and even though every glyph is unique, they share the same shapes, rules, and patterns to stay visually consistent. The scope of this project was to create a complete font for Fuel Wheels, based off the existing lettering in the Fuel Wheels logo. We created a custom display typeface with two font variations called “Fuel Gasoline Solid” and “Fuel Gasoline Outline.”
